来到天涯社区，向大家推荐一本英文绘本，故事改编自犹太经典民谣“Jiddish folk song”，2000年荣获凯迪克金奖。希望大家喜欢。
　　*绘本名称：《Joseph had a little overcoat》
　　*作者：Simms Tabac，是一位得过无数艺术方面大奖的艺术家，本身即是犹太人，为了将犹太文化在书中能有完整的呈现，不但重新研究犹太人的文化，更是在创作期间把自己完全沉浸在犹太音乐中，且以自己的形象来塑造故事主角 Joseph 的轮廓。
　　*绘本故事讲述的是：主人公约瑟夫有一件外套，可是外套穿得破破旧旧的，他就用这旧外套做成了一件夹克。当这件旧夹克缝缝补补多次时，他又把它改成了背心。当背心也穿得破旧后，他又把它做成了一条领带。当领带也旧的用不了后，他又把它变成了手帕……这件外套越变越小，聪明的约瑟夫总是有办法！

　　So he made a scarf out of it, and sang in the men's chorus.

　　So he made a handkerchief out of it, and drunk a glass of hot tea with lemon.

　　So he made a button out of it, and used it to fasten his suspenders.

　　Now he had nothing.
　　现在他一无所有。

　　So Joseph made a book about it.Which shows…you can always make something out of nothing.
