【原】advice 和 advise 都有建议的意思，哪个才是名词

学习英语很大的一个困扰就是存在很多形似的单词，有的时候它们意思完全不一样，比如 complement 和 compliment，有时候它们的意思又比较接近，比如 dependent 和 dependant 等，还有今天的 advice 和 advise.

一、advice 是不可数名词，意为“劝告，忠告，建议，意见”，例如：

Take my advice. I don't use it anyway.听我的劝告。反正我也不用。
He who can take advice is often superior to him who can give it.能接受劝告的人往往比能提出建议的人优越。
Many receive advice, but only the wise profit from it.许多人接受忠告，但只有明智的人才从中受益。

二、advise 是动词，意为“劝告；忠告；建议；出主意；提供咨询；通知；正式告知”，例如：
The rich are always advising the poor, but the poor seldom return the compliment.富人总是劝告穷人，穷人却很少回敬别人的赞美。
Attach yourself to those who advise you rather than praise you.依附于那些建议你而不是赞扬你的人。
Women will never be as successful as men because they have no wives to advise them.女人永远不会像男人那样成功，因为她们没有妻子给她们建议。

I have found the best way to give advice to your children is to find out what they want and then advise them to do it.
我发现给你的孩子们提建议的最好方法就是找出他们想要什么，然后建议他们去做。
三、两者的区别及记忆方法
区别：advice 是名词，而 advise 是动词。
记忆方法：advice 与 mice 押韵，mice 是名词，所以可以把 advice 记住为名词，那么剩下的 advise 就是动词了。
要区分英语中容易混淆的单词，一定要找出适合自己的永生难忘的规律，这样可以达到事半功倍的效果，现在记住了就代表永远学会了，所以学英语找规律相当重要。
