我原本以为，这种毁灭性的灾难不会在我有生之年发生。可它，还是发生了。20xx年5月12日四川汶川发生8。0级的大地震，让原本喧嚣的城市在倾刻间变成一片废墟，多少生命在瓦砾间戈然而止。那一幕幕揪心的画面让我潸然泪下，咸湿的空气浸满了泪水。那些幸存的孩童睁着无辜的大眼睛看着这个劫后余生的城市，眼了写满了悲伤乃至恐惧。那些年轻，美丽的生命，还来不及跟这个世界说一声再见就以阴阳相隔。只是不管是多么沉痛的呼喊也呼不回孩子那纯真的笑容，也喊不回孩子那稚嫩的声音。
I thought this devastating disaster will happen in my lifetime. But, it does happen. In May 12, 20xx, Sichuan Wenchuan 8. 然而，面对这些，我却无能为力。唯有捐献出自己小小的爱心，以此表示对灾区人民的关心。我用我的真心，祈祷灾区人民日平安，祝福灾区幸存人民幸福。
